Since 2019, the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria has been elected by Community to listen to, advocate and negotiate on behalf of mob — and together, we’ve delivered what previous generations fought for.
In 2026, the next Assembly will be elected to represent First Peoples across Victoria. The strength in Treaty is simple to understand: Aboriginal people are the experts on our own lives and decisions about Aboriginal communities, cultures and country made by Aboriginal people means better outcomes.
