Kalana Norton

My name is Kalana Norton, and I am a proud Dja Dja Wurrung woman living on Naarm Wurundjeri country and pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Treaty is our opportunity to unite the voices of First Nations peoples across Victoria. By coming together to discuss key achievements relating to health, education, and justice we can create positive change for future generations.

As a criminal lawyer, I am passionate about our mob’s access to justice and see Treaty as an opportunity to overcome ongoing and historical disadvantage.

I acknowledge the Elders and Members of the First Nation’s Assembly and their achievements over the last three years. Congratulations to all candidates willing to be a part of this generational change.
