Toby Lee Kirby

Descending from Wadi Wadi and Wemba Wemba peoples, I believe our mobs are on the cusp of something big in Victoria and am passionate about making sure the Mallee region’s mobs voice is heard in that process.

We have the opportunity as communities to have our needs met through this treaty vessel and I hope to bring our people’s demands to the table through direct communication with mob using the relationships I have gained through serving my community in the past.

Kirby, Farrant, Edwards and Walsh families are my family connections and through them I have gained a passion for community and advocating for mob that was entrenched in me at a young age. Like most of the mob.

My one and only aim in putting myself out there for this election is to make sure my people’s voice is heard on the big stage that is treaty in Victoria and to put forward their demands as directed by them.

I hope my approachable nature will invite community to have a yarn with me about their expectations of the treaty negotiation process and anything anyone wishes to ask about myself as a candidate in this Assembly election.
